This is Sand

Your cursor is the sand. Press C to change colours, to build up your image. Build a whole scene using dropping coloured sand. I know this looks simple but it is heaps of fun.

Here's a place to point and paint. Georges Seurat invented the technique known as Pointilism, which uses tiny dots instead of broad strokes to put the paint on the canvas. The individual dots of red, yellow and blue are sucked in through your eyes and mixed up in your head to create a variety of shimmering shades.

The Graffiti Creator

This really is more of an art application than a game. You can see your name or any words for that matter in a variety of graffiti styles. Once you have chosen a style you can then customise it with your own colour scheme, variations galore. No two pieces will look the same. Great effects.

This is a great little game to illustrate how the tessellation process works. Click on the shape and drag  the corners or edges to create a new shape before you hit the Tessellate button. Heaps of fun!

Flash Face

You have seen the police construct composite photokits for suspects, now do it yourself. This is lots of fun especially when you are attempting to create a likeness of someone that you actually know. Even harder still, make one of yourself, I dare you. I bet you can't make one you are happy with.

Paint kaleidoscope image on your computer. This is simply but very addictive. Have fun!

Mutapic is an online picture generator. It is a free tool you can use to rapidly create original art. Simply pick an image to start with and click on the green button to start. Great for developing logos or images based on symbols.

A great musical adventure of discovery and learning. Move, direct and change the musical tones, learning what work and what doesn't to make a tune.

Samorost 1

Work out how to change the direction of the Spaceship before it is too late. The first of the games that I came across with no instructions. The first and in many ways one of the better intuitive games. I love the graphic on these - half computer generated, half photographic.

Free Rice

I love this game. It gives the students the opportunity to feel as if they are making a difference. They think it is a game but do not seem to mind that they are learning at the same time. I like to make mine a
competition if we finish a task early. Who can be the first pair to get to 200 grains of rice etc.

A nice little online melody maker. Lovely screen to play on

Pattern of Infinity

This is a game you could get lost in for hours. Very complicated patterns of ones that are simple and effective - you decide.

Colour Test

Can you identify the colour of the text and not what the word says ? Yu would think so wouldn't you. Watch the power of the mind as you play this game. There is a way to win can you work it out.

Collage Machine

This is a great little machine for building art collages. Plenty of objects ready for you to spin, turn or change their transparency. Have a play - enjoy

Chiko - Accidental Alien

This is great game. It does have a slow start but once in you are given multiple mini games to complete the tasks. Each level gives you further clues or objects in order to get to the end.

This is very cool in so many ways. I love the fact that you can replay the drawing. This would be an excellent way to illustrate a technique or show someone how to draw a specific object. But equally so it is just a great way to show off your drawing skills.

Spin the cogs in the correct order so you can get the ball to it's destination. This is not as easy as it first looks.

Scary Girl

You seen the vinyl toys now play the game. Excellent graphics, good little game, have a go to check the other characters at least.

All you have to do is move the dots so that no lines are crossing over - sounds easy doesn't it.

Flame Painter

Paint with flames. This would perfect for backgrounds or graphics, however it is just good fun no matter how you use it.

Bokeh Type

Click and type - your words become artworks in themselves. Clever type tool. Beautiful effects

Deviantart Muro

Great online drawing tool. Great array of tools and brushes. Very sophisticated app.

AM Laboratory

A very cool music synthesizer. Just click on the squares that you think will continue your tune. If you don't like one of the squares click on it again to remove that particular note.

A beautifully crafted musical interactive that allows you to construct human beatboxes. A wonderful, full and vast array of sounds from this incredible tool.

Fridge Magnets

Interactive sentence builder but watch out for words thieves

You can play this game is in Spanish as well, sometimes it's more fun without the instructions but it doesn't matter. The graphics are so good and pace so fast anybody who opens this will struggle to to push the off button.

This is more an interactive art work than a game. Climb the slopes of Opniyama (yama means Japanese mountain) and discover the jokes of this vertical world.

This not a game merely a toy - a cool little toy.

Mr PicassoHead

Create your own Picasso masterpiece. All you have to do is drag and drop - it will be worth millions.

This is not really a game but is such a cool tool I just had to include it to share it with as many people as possible. The images found with the colour combinations are spectacular. Well worth a look. Make sure you bookmark this tool.

Harmony by MrDoob is an online drawing program that is nice to use. Easy to save when your happy.

A very simple little game - but intriguing. I had to explore all of the environment just so I did not miss anything

A good little game that at first appears very simple but which gets more complex and you penetrate the layers.

EyeBalling Game

I forgot just how good this little game actually was. As with anything where you are playing against yourself, this is terribly addictive - especially for those of us who thought we where visually oriented people.

Not really sure what to make of this little toy - but it is hard to put down once you start.

Spin the Black Circle

Frustrating, hard but addictive and well worth the time. Have a go and tell me what you think.
